WhatsApp Number Formatter

What this tool does
WhatsApp expects an international number without a leading zero, such as +9198XXXXXXXX. A spreadsheet of 10-digit mobiles will fail a template upload until the country code is added. This page does that conversion and drops duplicates.
The file never leaves the browser. There is no upload endpoint for this tool.
How to use it
- Paste a few rows or choose a .csv or .txt file.
- Check the country code. The sample uses 91.
- Copy only the valid column into your upload.
Worked examples
9876543210 becomes +919876543210.
The same number twice is marked duplicate on the second row.
Common mistakes
- Adding 91 in front of a number that already starts with 91.
- Keeping 0-prefixed landlines that are too short after the zero is removed.
- Uploading the invalid rows anyway.
Use it on a live WhatsApp number
A clean list is still not an opt-in. Only upload numbers that agreed to hear from you.

Do you store the file?
No. It is read in the browser.
What is a valid row?
8 to 15 digits after the country code is applied, and not a duplicate.
What about numbers that already have +91?
The plus is removed for counting, and the digits are kept.
Can I format US numbers?
Change the country code to 1, and paste 10-digit numbers.
Do I need an account?
No. The tool runs in the browser. Sign-up is only for sending the result on the official WhatsApp Business API.
Is a formatted list permission to message?
No.
