What this tool does
A WhatsApp template is the approved message a business can send first. The words, the category, and the variables are reviewed by Meta. A draft that looks fine in a notes app can still be rejected because a variable sits at the start of the sentence, a utility template contains a discount, or a marketing template has no way to opt out.
This generator writes a starting draft for a real job, then runs those checks on the page. Character limits used here are header 60, body 1024, footer 60, and button text 25. Confirm the live limits in Meta's template docs. Rules last checked: 2 October 2026.
How to use it
- Choose the goal. An order update is utility. A discount is marketing. A one-time code is authentication.
- Enter the brand name. The sample uses VibeTee Fashion so the result is visible before you type.
- Read the phone preview. Sample names and codes stand in for {{1}} so the bubble matches what a customer receives.
- Read the checklist. A failed line is the line to edit before you submit.
- Submit from Agentzee when you want the approved template on the same number as the chatbot and the CRM.
Worked examples
Abandoned cart, fashion: header “VibeTee Fashion cart”, body with {{1}} for the name, {{2}} for the product, {{3}} for the brand, and a STOP line. Category: marketing.
Order update: “your order {{2}} is {{3}}” with no discount language. Category: utility. Adding “20% off your next order” to that body is the mismatch this checker is built to catch.
Common mistakes
- Starting the body with {{1}}.
- Placing {{1}} {{2}} side by side with nothing between them.
- Calling a promotional message a utility template to get a lower price.
- Leaving marketing templates without an opt-out.

Do I need an account?

What is a category mismatch?
A utility template is for a transaction the customer already started, such as an order or a booking. A discount in that template is a marketing message and should be submitted as marketing.
Why can't a variable start the body?
Meta's template rules reject a body that starts or ends with a variable, and variables that sit next to each other. Put words on both sides.
How many buttons can I add?
This checker allows up to three buttons, with 25 characters each. Confirm the current button types in Meta's docs before you submit.
